Eyes

The eyes have it
seeing the world
in a different way.
I cannot decorate
a room for whatever
people would pay me
but there are those
who own that knack.

The ears have it
listening to
music and playing
it beautifully.
I can hear but
not get a peep out
alas somebody else's
talents are not given.

The touch has it
feeling the flair
of creating with
your hands has
also been me deprived
but I can knit
and I do on occasions.

The smell is it
most people have it
and that is important
because without it
you cannot taste.
