"La solitude n'existe pas" Invariably

Being the outsider
looking in -
not feeling quite
at home anywhere
search for serenity
is invariably on -
the scheme is
that the learning
the digging for
personal freedom
is one that you
can only have
in solitude.

Being an insider
looking out
feeling where
s/he belongs
does not need
the loneliness
for feeling great
and is invariably
invigorated
by plenitude.

Being just both
looking out/in/in/out
is invariably
different
and feeling out/in
among people
and without persons
must conclude
the conundrum
never to exist
quite here/there
a hopeless
turpitude.
