I am that lady in the picture
on the wall
no longer the beautiful view
of Laquedoc
I contemplate sincerely
my part in life
asking myself what
have I done?
The toucan benevolently
sits closely
butterflies all around them
No answers
she just exists on the wall
and so do I.
