9/11 in memoriam

15 years ago I was working
in a high school
in the class room of
some special people
all of a sudden we were told
put on the television
and there tragedy exploded.
That night was one of the few
where  everything was silence
but for nature itsself.
Birds chirping, crickets
still clicked - habitat hushed.
