A feast for the feminine feeble
as a male chauvinist would say
of gold, glitter, diamonds primeval
a person's wealth on display
it goes back in time medieval
where a woman's worth in gold weighed
nothing on intelligence of the people
just plain old cold cash had it made
but stones, metals and such regals
show beauty and security every day
so if I like an emerald set in a bezel
I embody the history in a fine way.
