Cook's dilemma

Invitees - I duly reflect
How to cook the lamb - a roast?
The cook's dilemma is a fake
conundrum - a sad boast.
Should I it baste and bake
or cut it to pieces sizzling
for the life sacrificed
diced, sliced and spiced?
The quandary: a give and take:
all omnivores are Quislings!
Thank the beast - give it due respect.
