Eclipse - solar eclipse
Mother and old time technology
a piece of broken glass
held over a candle
smoking it black with care
glanced at the sun directly -
the eclipse of my childhood
Today I look at the internet
and see the full one
the awe is not as enticing
as the one from the smoked screen
