Two years ago
I trundled the streets
of Melbourne waiting
today I again
revisit the familiar face
Melbourne State Library;
not much has changed
even the security guard
is familiar
the faces of the students
are what they are
somehow it does not faze me
because somewhere
out in the burbs
my focus are my grandsons
I - an urbanite - have changed.
