Two layers or more

When you think of the summer clothing
you only have two layers between people
on the beach ( if not a nude one)
a bikini and a pair of trunks

On the street you meet people and
one may only have shorts on
and the other a flimsy dress
with a culotte and a bra

In winter you have more layers
between you hindering eye
dreaming copulation -
more enticing to undress

Ponder the seven covering veils
for Scheherazade to chat
off before the Caliph -
nights without end.

Only the very young can get away
with a flimsy floating mantle
whereas a more mature body
needs alluring cloaks.
