A trip - a travail - complaint - no poem

Not a trip to Hawaii
that's for newly weds -
but a trip to Paris
from DC to Reykjavik
and then to Oslo finally
landing six hours later
than anticipated
I am completely dead!
All I had to do was wait
and grin and bear
that's tiring!
