Novembismus

English language
knocks the ideas
absorbing words
of all kinds.
I muse about
this flexibility
and applaud
that I can invent
a phraseology,
unknown today,
but tomorrow
it shall be hailed
as a new option.
That slang enters
and all of a sudden
it truly becomes
oddly mainstream
and therefore
bores the poets
alas - a word will
not come to be
so let the keyboard
be the inventor -
novembismus.

Novembismus: a noun,
signifying the feeling of late November
and the craziness before the holiday, the
last breath before going out on black Friday.
Poetess never suffers from novembismus,
because she does not venture out on Black Friday.
