Is it not a wonderful world
full of gadgets and doodads?
Humbled by hurricanes
by earth scattering quakes
by idiocies of man - wars
fights for power and more.
Chastened, we have no control
over wind, sun and rain
explosions, man made or not
volcano eruptions or tsunamis.
Overcome,we have no chance
when we discuss love, hate,
beliefs or monetary systems
or to control nature's urges.
Is it not a wondrous world
full of frail and fickle humans?
