awake I drink a beer
awake at 2:30 am
and I like to sleep
soundly...

I take another sip
hoping to conk out
should I take another
beer?
In four hours
I have to be up?
Dog has nightmare
I hear her moan
in her sleep.

for a nightmare -
I would have slept!
