Staring at the November rain
from inside a cosy warm house
intoxicates my rattling insides.
Ice ages come and go.
Evolution miracles from dry caves
mild savanna springs
earthly abundance
rich soils, fresh clean waters for
millions of years.
Industrial revolution
pollutes the lodestar.
We did not know
at the time.
Now we do.
Would I be willing to give up
the warm shelter of this abode?
If solar and wind energy
would take over - yes.
The November day is lightening up.
