Bel-Ami had an accident today
if he had not had that big fat
heavy car he would have been
smashed
flattened
squished
like the kid this summer
who is no longer
as old as my youngest
It told me one thing
that I keep forgetting
Live in the now
Walk the dog
Hug the world
19 minutes and then you might be -
on the landfill/
in the grave/
over the rainbow
