Quietly droplets
splot the lemons' skins
greenish unriped
sparkling emeralds -
citrously bright
sunloved fruit
comparably to none
lacking the sun's sparkle -
yet in the gray of the dawn
dewdrips' scintillation
awakens all sensory
embellishing these
tiny yellow diamonds
in the rough.
